We are seeking a full-time technical designer to work with our design team to create tech packs for manufacturers. Products include bedding, diaper bags and accessories and toys.
Responsibilities:
- Create tech packs for various product categories, start to finish using Illustrator and Excel
- Maintain spec library and update with running changes as needed
- Create specs for packaging as needed
- Understand costing
- Good communication skills with cross departments as well as overseas factories, including follow-up
Job Requirements:
- 4-year degree, preferably in Fashion or Textiles
- Understanding of the cut and sew process
- 2-4 years experience with tech packs
- Mastery of Adobe Illustrator
- Knowledge of Excel
- Extremely detail-oriented and speedy
- Experience spec-ing bedding and/or bags a definitely plus

Responsibilities:
- Maintain library of all test results
- Track updates to relevant government standards for the US and Europe
- Communicate with vendors to arrange product testing by third party testing facilities
- Provide ongoing support to retailers for custom testing requirements
- Work with various teams to coordinate regular spot-checks of product quality and compliance
- Review product testing history for compliance and repeat tests as required
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- 3-5 years experience working directly with or at a product testing laboratory
- Impeccable organization skills and mastery of Excel
- Familiarity with toys or other juvenile product categories

- Sketching new product concepts
- Specifying new products that follow the Brief
- Communicating with factories and/or modelmakers to develop product samples
- Developing packaging dielines and specifying packaging plans
- Creating concept sheets for use by sales
- Working with Production team to hand off all product specs
- Mocking up products and packaging as needed
Job Requirements:
- 4-year degree, preferably in Industrial Design or Graphic Design
- 3+ years experience in a related field
- Excellence in Adobe CS: Photoshop, Illustrator
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Sewing experience a big plus
