Match winner, Cristiano Ronaldo, hailed his Portuguese teammates’ character, after they booked their place in the semi-finals with a 1-0 win against a stubborn Czech Republic side.

It was bad day on top of bad day for Cristiano Ronaldo. Many can point fingers at his extremely poor performance in this close Group B win for Portugal. During the game Denmark fans continued to chant Lionel Messi's name at Ronaldo. It did not seem to make a difference at all, as the issues seemed to come from inside Ronaldo.
