Inaugural Moyes Team Challenge

All pilots welcome to the Inaugural Moyes Team Challenge
hosted by Moyes Delta Gliders, Warren Windsports and Liteflite.

Mission: The home of Australia's flat-land hang gliding and one of the world's greatest flat-land hang gliding locations invites you to experience the thrill of competitive hang gliding, to enhance your flying skills and to further enjoy the great camaraderie of hang gliding.

When: Friday, 29 March - Monday, 1 April 2013 - Yes this Easter!

Where: Forbes, NSW.

Who: Open to all pilots with HGFA membership and aero tow endorsement

Entry Fee: $250
Includes getting you onto a team with a Team Leader, Day Prizes, Saturday Night BBQ.

Towing: All tows are paid separately at $25 per tow. Liteflite tow cards can be purchased in Forbes.

Equipment: All your flying gear plus tow release, GPS, UHF and VHF radio.

The Team Challenge: The idea is to have 1 team leader and 3 team members, of varying experience, per team.
All beginner, intermediate and advanced pilots and gliders are welcome. Each morning we set an achievable task, you launch all together and fly with your team, to get to goal and are scored according to your glider category.

For the team pilots you get a taste of competition experience, briefing, weather, using your instruments, flying a course, making goal, downloading and scoring.

Whether you want to taste the competition experience, hone your cross country or thermalling skills, set a few PB's, come along for a fun long weekend.

Most of the Aussie Team will be team leaders along with the likes of Attila Bertok, Conrad Loten, Len Paton just to name a few.

We may even throw in a State of Origin competition if we get the numbers!

Numbers are limited, dependant on Dragonflys available, so register your interest to book your slot.

VHF Airband radio and radio licence are mandatory for all hang gliders and Dragonfly’s to be able to fly from the Forbes Airport.
An exemption was sought but unfortunately not obtainable.

Free Flying is welcome but you need to register so we are assured of having enough tugs.
