(Update: Added more paintovers for the rifle and his back)

This is my attempt at doing paintovers. This is something I did quite a lot of when I made the Quadbot for Tears of Steel.

The point of doing a paintover is to get an idea of how the model is suppose to look like before you go too deep into the time consuming modeling stage. I find this to be extremely useful to do once in a while on complicated project like this. I’ll probably do another paintover for his back, and maybe one for his gun as well.
