Graphic Eye Shadow
When it comes to dark-colored eye shadows, the general rule of thumb is to blend out any harsh edges until creating natural-looking fadeunless you’re going for an edgy rocker look like Kaley Cuoco's. At the 2013 Grammy Awards, the star’s makeup artist Jamie Greenberg used mark. products to create her graphic smoky eye. Greenberg began by smoothing a primer over Cuoco’s lids, then layered a dark black shadow on top to create the dramatic shape. “I wanted her eyes to be defined and look clean, so I used a credit card to create a super-straight edge,” she added. The look was finished with a thick sweep of liquid liner, an ample coating of mascara, and a shimmery nude lip. We love it!
