A quick note to officially say that CRE Loaded is almost done with its BETA and release of 6.4.2. It is a mainly a maintenance release with new PayPal and CRE Secure integrations. The CRE Secure module includes ability to store card tokens and a method to submit new charges to the gateway with those tokens via the order admin page. This is Huge. This allows merchants that need to do additional authorizations of cards after an order to do so WITHOUT storing the card data in their site. The idea is to get out of PCI Compliance scope. Completely. And in doing so, save money on the scams that are ASV scans and actually know your card data is secure. Yes I said it. ASV Scans are scams for small and medium merchant websites. They do not protect you, they are just smoke and mirrors to cover the collective asses of the payment industry. Passing a scan does not absolve you of any fees or black balling if you get breached. CRE Secure is the absolute best method to get out of the mess that is PCI for your website, not only for CRE Loaded carts but other carts as well. In the weeks and months to come you will see more on CRE Secure and how it solves the PCI Compliance problems, not only for your store, but for the industry as well. Yes CRE Secure is going to save the credit card industry. You're welcome. Also the update will include a feature fix to the sales by category to include sale makers missing capabilities. Your's evilly, The Evil Overlord.
