Jeffrey Bentley

Jeff has worked as a thespian for the last 10 years, mostly in the Reno/Sparks area. He’s done musicals such as Les Misberables and The Rocky Horror show, as well as straight plays including Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, and Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Martina Davis

Martina Davis is Reno, Nevada’s preeminent FM rock radio host.  She’s been on the air in northern Nevada since 1993, and you can hear Martina weekdays from 9 am to 3 pm (PST) hosting the Triple Shot Lunch, Ten After Laughter on Classic Rock station KOZZ.

 

 

Tom Strekal

Tom was trained as an aquatic biologist and worked with endangered species issues in Nevada for many years.  The Muse of Theater visited him in middle-age and changed his life.  Though formally retired, he occasionally works as an editor, performs with local theater groups as actor, stage crew, director, and emcee, is a part-time radio host for Reno Public Radio, and enjoys playing Santa Claus during the Christmas season.

 

Megan Smith

“Megan is a recent college graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance and two Associate’s degrees; one in Theatre and one in Musical Theatre. She has been in theatre and the performing arts for most of her life, and is very excited to be involved with My Audio Universe.”

 

 

 

 

 

 

John Frederick

John has spent many years as a performance artist. His experience ranges from music, film and theater to voice overs and modeling. He grew up in the Reno/Tahoe area and loves keeping life as local as possible.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chris Morrison

Chris is Associate Executive Director of the Reno Chamber Orchestra in Reno, Nevada. He also teaches Music Appreciation at the University of Nevada, Reno, and for over twenty-five years was an announcer at radio station KUNR-FM.

 

 

 

 

Jamie Woodham Plunkett

Jamie is a Nevada native and has been doing theatre and has worked in Carson City, Virginia City and in what is now considered home, Reno.  Jamie spent the last 13 years at Bruka Theatre as an actor, director and stage manager.  She has always wanted to be a voice actress.

Jill Marlene

Jill is a veteran performance artist and musician.  She has organized, directed and performed in a long list of theatrical productions and musical events, both live and recorded.  A mother of three, Jill lives and works in Reno, NV.

 

 

 

 

Brian Bahouth

Brian is producer and host of My Audio Universe.  He’s been a public radio reporter, news director, and on-air host since the mid-1990s and a short story writer since 1986.  His reporting has been heard on NPR, Pacifica and other networks.  Brian began adapting his short fiction to audio in 1999, and his pieces have appeared in numerous literary magazines.
