I do occasionally accept books for review, but I have been limiting the number I accept so I don’t feel overwhelmed by review obligations.

My favorite genres are contemporary fiction, memoirs, literary fiction and non-fiction books with a humorous bent. I tend not to seek out to historical fiction, romances, Christian fiction, or overly scholarly books.

I try to read all review copies I accept within a month of receipt and will write my review within a week or two of finishing a book. I also publish my reviews on Amazon, LibraryThing, Shelfari and Goodreads. I try to be fair-minded, but I will not promise a positive review. However, I can promise an honest and thorough review.
