ETASHA is a Tier 1 listed member of Give India, an online donation platform that allows people to support a cause of their choice from about 200 NGOs that have been scrutinised for transparency & credibility.
Give India’s stringent listing criteria, scrutiny process and donation feedback system means that NGOs listed with it are recognised as having a high level of integrity and accountability. They have reviewed over 3000 non profit organisation across India of which only 200 have met Give India’s Listing Criteria

ETASHA has been a validated member of CAF since 2009. CAF is an 80 year old, UK based, not for profit organisation and manages over 5 billion pounds and distributes to 45000 charities in more than 90 countries. All NGO partners working with CAF India, including ETASHA go through a due diligence process to ensure compliance with fiscal, legal and regulatory norms currently being followed in India.
CAF India has developed a set of listing criteria, which are used to determine whether or not an organisation is eligible for validation. This requires each NGO to give details about its board members, governance, financials, detailed review of three years audited financial statements and accounts, organisational structure and a broad program review.

GuideStar India provides information on over 1000 NGOs in India and helps users connect with organisations working in the area of their choice. All information is self-reported by NGOs with organisations uploading supporting documents such as tax returns, registration documents and audited accounts. Organisations have undergone different levels of due diligence before being featured on the site. ETASHA's Guidestar number is 275.

ETASHA became a member of the Credibility Alliance in March 2010. Credibility Alliance is a consortium of voluntary organisations committed towards enhancing accountability and transparency in the voluntary sector through good governance. It is an initiative that emerged from within the sector and was registered in May 2004 as an independent, not-for-profit organisation. ETASHA’s membership number is 000954DL11.

ETASHA is registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010
All non profits in India who wish to receive funds from foreign sources are legally obliged to obtain permission from the Ministry of Home Affairs. Foreign sources pertain both to individuals and organisations. Organisation wishing to register under FCRA cannot do so until they have been in operation for three years and meet the criteria set out by the government of India. ETASHA’s registration number under FCRA is 231661230.
