  • Participation in WSF-India. HWA – BBS highlighted the weaver’s issues globally, organized workshop on ‘effect of globalization on handloom weavers and child labor’.

  • Organized protest rally in which burnt Chinese cloths for posing anti dumping duty on china fabric and symbolic suicide of weavers to show the effect of decline in handloom sector, and demanded for compensation on weavers suicide (as paid to the farmers.
