Chief Master Sergeant Michael C. Perry is the Command Chief, National Air and Space Intelligence Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. As the senior enlisted leader of 3,100 personnel, Chief Perry advises the commander on all matters related to morale, quality of life, discipline, assignments, training, readiness, professional development and effective utilization of all enlisted personnel. With four groups, four directorates, and eighteen squadrons, NASIC is the Air Force's analysis center for foreign air, space and specialized intelligence. NASIC provides a broad range of tailored, integrated assessments, products, and services to joint operational forces, national policymakers, and the acquisition community.

Chief Perry entered the Air Force in June 1985. He graduated from intelligence technical training at Goodfellow AFB, Texas in August 1989. Prior to his intelligence career, Chief Perry was an avionics maintainer on the FB-111A weapons system. Chief Perry has an extensive intelligence background and has held a variety of operational and leadership positions throughout the Air Force. His assignments include bases in New Hampshire, South Carolina, Virginia, Hawaii and Ohio, three overseas tours in Italy, Japan and the Republic of Korea, and deployments to Southwest Asia in support of Operations DESERT STORM, DESERT FOX, SOUTHERN WATCH, ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM.

Prior to his current assignment, Chief Perry was the Group Superintendent for the 692d Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. There Chief Perry served as the Group Commander's key advisor on issues affecting personnel readiness, utilization, morale and professional development.
