Devolved governments better for gender equality
Women in the devolved institutions are performing better than their counterparts at Westminster, according to a study carried out by a Middlesex University academic.
Dr Sylvia Shaw looked into the participation of women in the Scottish Parliament, Welsh and Northern Irish assemblies and found that they were more vocal in debates compared to traditional parliaments.
