About the Office

The Office of Government Relations and Advocacy is chief liaison between the University and federal, state and local government offices and legislative bodies. The University also provides service and support to policymakers by engaging its numerous experts, capabilities and resources. The University's government relations office serves the interests of the University's 44,000 students statewide, 14,000 faculty and staff members, and 335,000 alumni in the U.S. and around the world by working closely with faculty, University leaders and the Student Government Association to improve understanding and support for the University's academic, research, and outreach goals.
