E2SSB 6696


The Teacher/Principal Evaluation Pilots were created by E2SSB 6696,, a broad education reform bill passed by the Washington State Legislature in the 2010 session to strengthen the state’s position for winning one of the federal Race to the Top grants.

Passed during the 2012 session, ESSB 5895 set the course for the future of TPEP.
