Consumption and Inequality in the Modern Era

This one-day workshop will be hosted by the Centre and organised in collaboration with the AHRC funded Inequality, Social Science and History Research Network at the University of Manchester. The workshop will aim to explore the relationship between consumption as a form of human action and inequality as a consequence of human interaction (and a conditionant of such exchanges).
