HOW TO REGISTER

You may register online. Payment must be received with your registration.

Badges Your IABC conference badge must be worn for admittance to all keynotes, sessions and non-ticketed events. Lost badges will not be replaced.

You may collect your badge and registration materials at the registration desk located on the Promenade of the third floor in the Hilton. Materials may not be picked up for another person.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

To register Complete each line, click the appropriate registration category and, if applicable, extra-fee events. Confirm the total cost of your selections at the bottom of the form.

IABC membership is on an individual basis. If you are not a member, please pay the appropriate non-member fee.

A valid form of payment must accompany your registration. All credit card charges will be processed in U.S. dollars, and your financial institution will convert at the prevailing exchange rate. Checks will be accepted in U.S. and Canadian dollars. IABC cannot invoice you.

Sessions and special events sign-up Check all events you plan to attend. Indicate the session number in each time period. IABC does not keep a record of your selections, and checking a box does not guarantee a place for you. This information is only used to help IABC plan seating and food and beverage. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. You can change your selections on-site.

REGISTRATION CATEGORIES

Conference, Lunch & Gold Quill Awards package

This registration includes all conference breakout and general sessions, the Welcome Reception, the Exhibit Hall lunch, the IABC Research Foundation Luncheon & Seminar, and the Gold Quill Awards® Gala dinner. (Tickets must be purchased for the pre-conference workshop).

Regular Conference registration

This registration includes all conference breakout and general sessions and the Welcome Reception. (Tickets must be purchased for any additional event or pre-conference workshop).

Daily rates

Daily rates include all programs and events scheduled for that particular day, with the exception of the Sunday pre-conference workshop. Daily rates are nonrefundable.

Educators

Only full-time educators that are IABC members are eligible for the educator registration fee. This registration includes one Welcome Reception ticket, the Exhibit Hall lunch, the Networking Reception and all general sessions and seminars, with the exception of extra-fee events. 500 Club Members

500 Club Members need to call the registrar at 415.544.4724 to receive your 5 percent World Conference discount. Discounts cannot be combined.

EXTRA-FEE EVENTS

You must purchase a ticket to attend the following events unless they are included in your registration package (see descriptions of packages above) You may also purchase an additional ticket for a guest. All tickets are nonrefundable, subject to availability, and may be purchased in advance or on-site.

Team discounts When three or more people from the same organization register for the conference at the same time, each person may take a US$100 discount off the Conference, Lunch & Gold Quill Package; Conference & Lunch Package; or Regular Conference registration fee. All registration forms must be received together and have “team” written on each form. Discounts cannot be combined.

To apply the team discount when registering online, enter the code “TEAM13” and click the “Apply Code” button before entering payment information. This discount cannot be combined with other discounts and does not apply to daily rates, extra-fee events or any portion of the fees applied to membership or dues.

Registration confirmation If you register online, you will receive an immediate confirmation by e-mail. If you mail or fax your registration, you will receive confirmation by e-mail within two weeks of receipt. You must provide an e-mail address to register and receive a confirmation.

Conference directory

To be listed in the conference directory, you must register by 26 May.

CANCELLATION POLICY

IABC holds the right to alter the schedule and presenters of the event as required.

All cancellations and/or substitution requests must be made in writing to IABC by email to conference@iabc.com. An 80 percent refund of your paid registration will be granted for cancellations received before 12 a.m. on Tuesday, 11 June. Refunds will not be granted after 11 June. No exceptions will be made.

No refunds or credits will be granted for cancellations received after Tuesday 11 June, or for no-shows.

Credit card payments must be refunded to the card originally used to pay the registration fee. All refunds will be made after the conclusion of the event.

In the event that the conference is postponed due to a natural disaster or other cause beyond IABC’s control, we will make every effort to reschedule. Any registration payments made will automatically be applied to the rescheduled event. If you choose not to attend the rescheduled conference, IABC will provide a full refund upon written request from the registrant.

Substitutions:

Substitutions may be made at any time, with written confirmation from the person registered and by following the steps below. Non-member substitutes must pay the balance of a non-member registration if replacing a member.

If you are unable to attend the conference after registering, you may send someone in your place. Please follow these steps:

1) You must submit the person’s name and contact information in writing to IABC prior to Friday, 21 June. Fax and e-mail requests will be honored.

2) If you are an IABC member and your replacement is a non-member, they must pay any outstanding balance as a result of the difference in corresponding fees.
