The Funded Proposal- Understanding The 5 Benefits

Saturday, February 4th, 2012 at 3:37 AM

The Funded Proposal-“Process of selling a low cost, but helpful product on the front end to cover advertising expenses, and then selling a primary product or opportunity on the back-end”

I was recently asked by a friend to explain the premise behind the funded proposal as a marketing strategy. As I did, I realized that few marketers really get it. And even fewer  really use it. I hope with this brief explanation to show the 5 major benefits.

The Funded Proposal – Benefit 1 Cash Flow  spacer

By utilizing the funded proposal method of marketing you are able offset the cost of your marketing efforts. You can often easily pay for most if not all of your lead generation and advertising costs. By retailing fast selling information products on the front end you can monetize the leads who say no to your primary business. Let’s call it seed money for something bigger.

The Funded Proposal – Benefit 2 Sponsoring With trust

With selling a great information product that actually helps people, ( I try not to use prospects) you are able to establish a relationship and start to build trust as someone who provides value. It will be much easier for you sponsor an existing customer, especially when they see you really market value. You will certainly be more attractive than someone just pushing another opportunity. You will be even more attractive having eliminated their fear of being able to make money.

The Funded Proposal – Benefit 3 Branding

By offering a helpful inexpensive product that actually helps people, you effectively position yourself to gain both respect and trust. Leaders provide systems, tools, solutions, and direction. People follow leaders not opportunities.

The Funded Proposal – Benefit 4 Quality of People

The value of an education is another sideline benefit of the funded proposal. By educating your leads with quality information products you are also building better future business partners. They are also showing initiative and proving they are serious about investing in themselves. This further qualifies them for your time and possibly your opportunity.

The Funded Proposal – Benefit 5 Duplication

Definitely one of the best benefits to the funded proposal is the fact that new team members can do this also. Using this system to generate good income marketing the same or original information products as well. This of course sustains their advertising and keeps them in the game, reducing drop-outs. This is where momentum comes from.

spacer   The funded proposal is just one element of the Attraction Marketing method outlined in Mike Dillard’s book “Magnetic Sponsoring”. If you have yet to read it, you have to buy it. Just click on the highlighted link or the image and secure your copy now. Use it and the principals it teaches to get you and your team headed in the right direction. To The Top!

Share this message with your online friends, this is just one of the make or break marketing fundamentals they really want you to share share with them.

Thanks for visiting,

Neil

P.S. Remember : Leaders provide systems, tools, solutions, and direction. People follow leaders not opportunities. BE THE LEADER!

Hi Neil, I love the way you outline the benefits of the funded proposal or as I know it the sales funnel. Having front end sales with a back end in your business as well is a must. I find a lot of people in business don’t know how to value their products or even understand this concept. Awesome share here. Thank you Warmest Regards Shirley

Great explanation on the benefits of a funded proposal. Funded proposals are great because you can get paid even when people say no to your business!
