Clever Ideas For Increasing Email Subscribers
by Justin
Quick, tell me if you’ve ever heard this one…
…The money is in the list
Yeah, i’m pretty sure you’ve heard that a few times. The irony is that IT IS STILL THE #1 PROBLEM FOR WEBSITE OWNERS!
For many people they feel like building their list is something they’ll do after they start making some money. Yet, anyone who is monstrously successful online will tell you it should be the first thing you focus on.
In fact I’m so focused on it, that I brought in a heavy hitter, Derek Halpern of SocialTriggers.com, to help me increase email subscribers on SITEFling.

In case you haven’t heard of him yet, I’ll give you the quick run down…
Derek Halpern is the Chief Persuasion Officer at DIYthemes (Thesis Theme), where he focuses on list building, conversion rate optimization, and blogging.
He also runs SocialTriggers, a blog that teaches you how to improve your internet marketing efforts with the findings from psychology,Β neuroscience, and obsessive analytics.
Derek has been called the “Drake” of Internet marketing due to his quick rise to fame and powerful history. He’s doing so well that he’s even caught the attention of mega-bloggers Chris Brogan, Jason Falls, and Brian Clark.
Seeing how quickly his success was growing, I immediately contacted this Tyrannosaurus Rex of Internet marketing.
Derek’s Metric Ton of Email Subscription Increasing Tips
The magic behind Derek is his ability to increase leads and sales from your current traffic. If you don’t have traffic then he can help you with that too, but his main focus is on conversion rate optimization.
The top marketers on the web are fighting for a chance to get Derek to critique their websites. Inside these critiques Derek delivers bombshell after bombshell of great advice for increasing your email subscribers. None of them are “hard” to implement either, but all of them are powerhouses.
Below you will find the recorded website critique Derek did for SITEFling. In this video you will learn several clever ideas for increasing your email subscribers.
Prior to this interview/critique with Derek I had been watching all of his other critiques. After watching each of his critiques I immediately make a to-do list of ideas I want to implement for my own site.
Before Derek critiqued my website I had already doubled my daily subscribers. Still he found things I had overlooked and I’ve got another long to-do list of ideas to implement. If you’re interested in increasing email subscribers with your blog, I’ve linked to each of Derek’s video critiques below.

Been loving Derek’s stuff too. It’s funny watching you being awed as a student.
Great to see SF getting slicker too. Leading the way with the blogging / email hybrid.

I’ve been spying on Justin for some time but Derek is new to me – so thanks. The video is one of the most useful I’ve seen for a long time – but, now I am depressed about my own blog! Oh well, such is life!
