Gene and longtime partner Shannon Tweed, a former Playboy Playmate have never tied the knot but have shared a life together for almost three decades. Together they share two children and have done a great job raising them. Their son Nick was born on January 22nd, 1989 and their daughter Sophia, just a few years younger was born July 7th, 1992. Some might ask how Gene is able to manage a relationship with Shannon and his children when the cameras are in the house at all times? Gene explains in a recent interview with Parade Magazine that it is important to be strict when raising children, “We’re very strict. You behave well because you’re not allowed not to. It’s as simple as that. There are no drugs, no booze, and no cigarettes because you’re not allowed to. You don’t talk potty talk because you’re not allowed to. The idea that kids slam the door to their rooms on these TV shows is the height of lunacy…negotiating with your children? Absolutely not,” he said.

Malia Obama, 13, celebrated her birthday yesterday on the Fourth of July. How fitting for the daughter of the President of the United States. On January 20th, 2009 Barack Obama assumed office following George W. Bush. In his two years as president, Obama has wowed the American Public with his ability to balance family and professional matters. When asked how he felt about Malia becoming a teenager, Barack told Good Morning America, “Malia and Sasha, for whatever reason, and I think Michelle gets the lion’s share of the credit, they’re smart, they’re funny, but most importantly, they’re kind, they’re respectful, they’re responsible, they’re well-behaved. I could not ask for better kids.”

It will be interesting to see the outcome of Barack Obama’s reelection. If he remains president for a second term this will not be the last birthday that Malia will celebrate as the daughter of the President of the United States. Happy belated Birthday and Fourth of July Malia Obama!

Ana Ortiz is expecting a little one later this year! The 40 year old actress and husband, Noah Lebenzo, are currently trying to come up with the perfect name. “It has to be Spanish, but something non-speakers can pronounce without mauling,” Ortiz explains. “Suggestions? I’m open.” The couple is also parents to a little 2 year old girl, Paloma Louise.

After tying the knot with huband Cory Hardrict in April of 2008 in Santa Barbara, the two announced their pregnancy in January of 2011. This past Tuesday, June 28th in Los Angeles, Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict welcomed their new baby. As most couples do, Tia and Cory kept the babies name a secret until his birth. Cree Taylor Hardrict, the 8 lb. baby boy has been a long time coming for Tia and twin sister Tamera. Although Tia and Cory are beyond thrilled, Tamera could not be happier to welcome her new nephew. “I think she secretly thinks my son is her son too! I mean, twins share everything, right?” Mowry said jokingly in a recent interview. “She is always kissing, rubbing, patting and hugging my belly.”

Tia will have her hands full this year juggling her new baby and her new reality show with twin sister Tamera. Tia and Tamera will premier this August on the Style Network. While on the set of his new movie “World War Z” this week, Brad Pitt was greeted by wife Angelina and his eldest daughters Zahara and Shiloh. Though the entire Jolie-Pitt crew is stationed in Malta for the time being, sons Maddox and Pax and twins Knox and Vivienne stayed behind at the 11 million dollar mansion the couple is renting for their extended stay abroad.

The “Top Chef Masters” host, Curtis Stone and actress, Lindsay Price, have a little bun in the oven! The couple is expecting their first child together. In a statement, 35 year old Stone said, “We couldn’t be more thrilled to be starting a family together.” He then added on the excitement by saying, “We are over the moon.” The couple has been together since 2009 and recently moved into a $3.1 million mansion in the Hollywood Hills. Price is best known as an actress for her roles in “Love Bites,” “Eastwick” and “Lipstick Jungle”.

Lily Allen has something to smile about! The very talented 26-year old singer known for her single ‘Smile,’ tied the knot earlier this month with now husband, Sam Cooper. Looking beautiful and slim on her wedding day in a long white gown designed by French designer Delphine Manivet, Allen announced that she and Cooper were having a baby and that she was already four-months pregnant! “It’s beautiful and she is pregnant … it is something wonderful. For me and for her too, when you’re pregnant you want to show that, but also be respectful, so the dress was perfect for her for the moment,” Manivet told the British newspaper ‘The Telegraph.’

Prior to the wedding there was talk going around that Allen had to alter her gorgeous wedding gown to fit her new full figure, but Manivet says she knew in January that Allen wanted to get pregnant. After all, this was not the first time that Lily Allen had been expecting. The years 2008 and 2010 proved to be discouraging for Allen after she experienced two miscarriages. It seems as though life took a turn for the better with the start or 2011. Lily Allen is now a married woman and mother-to-be!

Olympian softball player, Jennie Finch welcomes her second little boy! Diesel Dean Daigle was born on Sunday, June 19th. Diesel weighed in at 8 pounds, 2 ounces and 22 and ¼ inches long as the second son to Finch and her husband Casey Daigle. Finch, 30, confirmed the pregnancy to People Magazine and said, “Casey and I are excited for our sweet precious Baby D!”  Now that big brother, 5 year old Ace Shane, isn’t an only child how is he dealing with it? Finch explains, “Ace couldn’t be any more pumped to be a big brother to Diesel.”

Poppy Montgomery, the 37-year-old busy, beautiful actress from Australia has her hands full with her new baby boy. Jackson Phillip Deveraux who is now three and a half has as much energy as six children, said Montgomery. “I thought I was going to get a girl that wanted manicures, pedicures and would, like, brush my hair. And I got a guy that is jumping off my head and leaping off of tall buildings,” she told PEOPLE Magazine. Regardless of how busy her new addition is keeping her, she and boyfriend Adam Kaufman are considering another child, but not now. Poppy’s new show, Unforgettable, is her “new baby” for the time being.

There is ‘No Doubt’ that the family is growing!  Band member and Drummer, Adrian Young, and wife Nina welcomed a daughter as the latest addition to the children of band members of 'No Doubt'. Magnolia Renee Young is the name of the little girl as Adrian announced on the band’s Twitter page, “Nina & I brought our 2nd child into this world Friday, June 10,” The 41 year old band member say’s with excitement. “Her name is Magnolia Renée Young & we are beyond happy & excited!”

Magnolia now joins her big brother, 9 year old Mason.  Some of you may know the most famous of the band member’s children as Gwen Stefani’s sons, Zuma Nesta Rock, 2½, and Kingston James McGregor, 5. The rest of the ‘No Doubt’ family includes: Tom Dumont‘s sons Koa Thomas, 3½ months, Rio Atticus, 3 this month, and Ace Joseph, 5; and Tony Kanal‘s daughter Coco Reese Lakshmi, 4 months.
