Loyola's 2011 Into the Streets Day of Service
Volunteering a second year for Loyola's Into the Streets day of service program, IA staff member Rhonda Brehm was asked to lead a group of first year students. Her group was assigned work in the vegetable garden (the third of its kind in the New Orleans' Charter Schools) at Langston Hughes Academy. First year students worked hand in hand with young elementary school students. Lots of hard work in the hot sun yet fun was had by all!
