Pom Wonderful presents: The Greatest Movie Ever Sold
July 14, 2011 4:45 PM
Rated: PG-13
Boundary-pushing Oscar-nominated filmmaker Morgan Spurlock (Super Size Me, 30 Days) explores the world of product placement, marketing, and advertising in his latest project, a film that was fully financed through product placement from various brands, all of which are integrated transparently into the film. With humor and insight, the film unmasks the marketing process to bring audiences behind closed doors directly into the pitch meetings and marketing presentations that ultimately inform our everyday entertainment decisions.
July 13–17 screening room. 90 mins.
Polly Honeycombe

She finds such a man in the person of a poor, aspiring writer named Scribble. Unfortunately for her, Polly's father has arranged a sensible, profitable marriage for her to Mr. Ledger, a most sensible, profitable and dull broker. Enacting scenes of excitement, adventure and intrigue contained in her beloved books, and with the help of her nurse -- her trusted confidante, Polly tries to outwit her practicdal father and her distracted mother in this classic farce of mjstaken identities and surprise revelations!
