What We Do

Treks West Tours provides our customers with a fantastic, outdoor, vacation experience featuring dayhiking in our wonderful national parks and monuments! Our tours are 5-6 nights in length and combine dayhiking along with whitewater rafting and horseback riding. The hikes range from 2-10 miles and require a moderate level of fitness. The rafting trips are full day excursions on some of the west’s most legendary rivers, such as the Colorado Rio Grande, and the San Juan! Our horseback rides are between 3-6 hours in length, and take us into iconic western landscapes like Monument Valley and Moab, Utah. Some of the national parks we visit are Arches, Big Bend, Canyonlands, Guadalupe Mountains, and Mesa Verde. Our tours are all about the journey, not racing to the finish line. We believe in enjoying every step and breath, while hiking under some of the biggest, bluest skies you’ve ever seen.

Our destinations have been specially chosen to showcase some of the most spectacular scenery America has to offer. The tours mainly take place in the southwestern states of Arizona,Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, and Utah, with Alaska the only exception. I’ve trekked through each of our destinations and been mezmerized by their natural wonders and human history. We’ll partake in all the unique aspects of a particular destination, and combine them with excellent lodging and dining. Some of our featured locations are Big Bend National Park in Texas and the twin wonders of Moab, Utah, Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. We’re sure that our destinations will provide you with an unforgettable vacation adventure!
