Emerging Orthotic Management Concepts in Neuro-Rehabilitation

Mark DeHarde will demonstrate how the
upper and lower extremity orthotic process is instrumental in determining the appropriate brace design.
This process includes:
• Alignment evaluation
• Observation of gait and standing alignment
• Evaluation of upper extremity movements
• Consideration of treatment goals
• Incorporation in patient compliance
The course also will review emerging orthotic concepts and demonstrate these concepts through a live patient lab.
A next step summary and clinician Q & A discussion will conclude the course.
