Jacob Andreas

I like computers and words. I study both. (But only at schools associated with the color blue.) Trajectory: ColumbiaUSC ISICambridge → Berkeley.

Research

I'm broadly interested in computational models of meaning, and in the way in which meaning is represented with language. I'm affiliated with the Cambridge NLIP Group. Previously I worked with the Columbia Natural Language Processing Group (occasionally at the Center for Computational Learning Systems). I'm also interested in computational learning theory generally, and formal models of language learning in particular.

More on research.
