I love that you can pack a lunch to bring along because that saves you money especially if you come and have to pay admission but on free days the whole day can be free with packing a lunch
Museum is free on Mondays for Milwaukee county residents.

Candy shop in old milwaukee exhibit is tasty!
Awesome exhibits -- including one of a life size T-Rex devouring a Triceratops.
Make sure to buy your tickets for iMax at the main ticket booth. There are no signs in waiting area and I went from being first to twentieth in line.
$11 student admission - don't forget to show your MUID!
The public museum is very deceiving. From the outside it looks small but it is enormous and a great place to take a date.
The burgers they serve in the Cafe, are actually reeaaally good. Worth the wait!
