Welcome to my website! I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Political Science at Northwestern University. My focus in comparative politics is on state-society relations in the Middle East. I also write about the American Midwest. My ongoing project, As Ohio Goes, tells the stories of regular Americans dealing with the last few years of economic downturn. The book manuscript is currently under review.
