Internships
The internship program is the best opportunity to explore management consulting at ProOrbis. The typical duration and timing is 8–12 weeks in the summer. There may be opportunities to intern during the spring or fall depending on the availability of the intern and the office schedule. The intern works on a client engagement as a member of the ProOrbis team over this duration. The internship experience enables the intern to make a more informed decision in regards to pursuing management consulting in the long term. At the end of the internship, a permanent offer may be extended to exceptional candidates.
Business Analyst
Analysts perform a wide range of activities including setting up financial and operational analyses for market analysis, designing business models, financial modeling, valuing tangible and intangible assets, performing due diligence, and assembly of organizational asset portfolios. Analysts conduct quantitative analytics used to produce conceptually elegant displays of information. Analysts are on a very steep learning curve which requires a significant investment from our senior staff, a personal commitment to their own development, and effective management of the rigorous workload.
Consultant
Consultant work includes managing and coordinating a segment of the client engagement, competitive analysis, product-launch and market-entry assessment; financial modeling and valuation; M&A-style financial analysis, research, due diligence and other typical deal activities; and executing design of new business operations, tangible and intangible valuation.
Lead Consultant
Lead Consultant work includes managing and coordinating the client team, and developing approaches for competitive analysis, product-launches; financial models and valuation; M&A-style financial analysis, due diligence and typical deal activities; designing new business operations, assessing the strength of tangible and intangible assets (such as brands, human capital, strategic partnerships and technology); formulating strategic initiatives for improvement and funding and financing strategy formulation.
