Student-athletes at the University of Tennessee strive to be champions in the classroom.  We have several recognition programs that highlight our students’ academic excellence, and we have nominated several student-athletes for prestigious awards.  Below the photo are some highlights showcasing their academic success.

*18 student-athletes earned a 4.0 GPA for the Spring 2011 term

*87 student-athletes graduated in 2010-2011

*7 former student-athletes returned to campus to complete their degrees through our RAC (Renewing Academic Commitment) program in 2010-11

*184 student-athletes made the 2010-2011 SECHonor Roll (recognition requires a GPA of 3.00 or higher for the preceding 2 semesters among other details).

*240 student-athletes currently have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
