   How have you been? Thank you for keeping me in your prayers. My dad is doing pretty well in the ALF home that he is in now. It is much easier on me with him there. I go to visit him twice a day for lunch and dinner time. How are you and your sons doing?

   Hello Sandy... we arrived home from Pembrokeshire on Monday.... been very busy... not sure if I told you we lost Bill's Mum on the 20th of July had to cancel our holiday finally got away on July 31st...we shouldn't have gone but we thought it would do us good...when we arrived on the site it was heaving with rain and the van slipped and damaged another van.... we were hoping to be able to settle amongst ourselves.. but we received the estimate yesterday £3000 approx: and it's such a small hole...so it's gotta go through the insurance...I've been up to my neck in paperwork since arriving home sorting Mum's pensions etc:

   Hi Sandy I was just reading your post for today in Meg's...you mention Manatee...do you work with them? we saw them when we visited Florida a few years ago in a centre...such beautiful creatures we all fell in love with them. We went to the everglades to see them in their natural habitat and learn all about them incredible creatures and so sad that they are one of the endangered species now.

   Hi Iris,
   Yes I do work with the Manatee foundation and we have a visiting center in Fort Pierce, Fl. where I work twice a week. We try to teach people about manatees and how to pretend them. We also have several aquariums with different kinds of fishes in them, plus a lobster aquarium, seahorses and turtles. We also help to rescue injuried manatees and dolphins and send them to Sea World in Orlando. Yes they are very interesting animals and also very friendly to people.
   We see so many that get injuried by motors from boats. The boats go so fast and the manatees can't get out of the way very fast since they are so big.
   Where did you go to visit them when you were in Florida?

   I got your message but I'm not too good with these kinds of places. I don't understand how they work and don't feel comfortable but I guess I will have to get used to it before MSN shuts our groups down in Feb. 2009.
