Children today are exposed to current events and politics at increasingly earlier ages. That’s why Regnery Publishing launched Little Patriot Press, a new a new civic-minded imprint just for kids geared towards children 5-8 years old in grades K-4.
Each title focuses on an aspect of America’s unique history and government narrated by a spunky and inquisitive mouse. Whether it’s a story about America’s Declaration of Independence, her three branches of government, or our electoral process, each book teaches children about America with engaging characters such as President Woodrow G. Washingtail, the Squeaker of the House, and Marshall the Courthouse Mouse.
Our Little Patriot Press books are written and illustrated by Peter and Cheryl Barnes, an award-winning, media-savvy husband and wife team who have written and illustrated numerous critically-acclaimed children’s books.
