Brainerd Lakes Area Bike Maps

Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and heartwarming hospitality of the Brainerd Lakes Area. Each season offers different views of the beautiful lakes area. As the snow starts melting each spring you will hear thewater in our lakes and rivers begin to flow, the birds will begin to chirp and the flowers and trees will begin to bud. Summers will offer the beauties of bright blue skies and lakes, and hues of lush green trees. Autumn provides bikers the experience of riding the trails with amazing views of the radiant Minnesota fall colors.

Use the maps to find the ride you want to try and plan to spending a few days here at one of our fine lodging facilities. If you would like ride a new different trail each day, be our guest! The route maps were developed by the Paul Bunyan Cyclists ( a local cycling club) and designed to showcase the best scenic routes of the lakes area. Those not familiar with Crow Wing County, the maps should be used in conjunction with more detailed county or regional maps.

You can also enjoy over 90 miles of paved trail from Brainerd to Bemidji on the 110 mile Paul Bunyan Trail or take advantage of 25-miles of new mountain bike trails at the Cuyuna Mountain Bike Trail System. Enjoy your tour!

Before you start your bike tour here's information you should know:

The maps have JAVA rollovers and will update to show a new trail when you click on a trail name. By clicking on the bullet next to a trail name and you will be taken to a new page with a more detailed map of the route. Each click on the page will reset to the top of the page. Simply scroll down to see the newly highlighted trail.

If you do not have java enabled, the map will not work properly. Please use the links at the bottom of the page to view the more detailed maps.

The map is large in file size (about 102kb - but worth the wait!). It may take several extra seconds to load. However, it only has to load once. Each individual bike trail map will range in file size from 35 to 75K. They are larger so that you can print them and read the road signs, etc.
