About Us
The Freehold Borough PBA Local #159 is part of
the New Jersey Police Benevolent Association and
is comprised of police officers, police
supervisors, and command staff of the Freehold
Borough Police Department. We have been
incorporated and serving our members and the
public since XXXXXXXX.
The PBA performs several functions. First,
the organization's main purpose is foster unity
and brotherhood among the men and women of the
Freehold Borough Police Department.
Second, we insure that the rights of our members
are protected.
The PBA also negotiates labor issues including
the labor contract under which we currently
work.
Finally, and most importantly, we research and
support various causes through Freehold Borough
and beyond. Each month the members of the
PBA hold a meeting where many topics are
discussed including local issues and causes.
We vote on donations requested in writing by
various groups and organizations.
The Freehold Borough PBA is funded by dues paid
by members and donations made by the public.
The Freehold Borough police officers are
dedicated to serving and protecting the
community where we live and work. We are
committed to the prevention of crime, protection
of life and property, safety, enforcement of
laws and ordinances and the safeguarding of
constitutional rights and guarantees.
We
