New ‘Smurfs’ interview
Both MovieWeb and ComingSoon.net were part of the group of reporters invited to the Smurfs set last year to interview the cast.
The Smurfs is released across theaters in the US & Canada in 3D and 2D on July 29th, and August 10th in the UK.

Neil to direct “The Expert At The Card Table”
Neil will direct UK magician Guy Hollingworth in “The Expert at the Card Table”, which runs at The Broad Stage, Santa Monica from July 13th to August 7th.
Neil Patrick Harrisโ latest directorial project is all fun and games until magic turns to mystery.
Written and performed by sleight-of-hand master Guy Hollingworth, and the artistic direction of David Babani of the Menier Chocolate Factory, this acclaimed adaptation of a notorious, anonymously penned 1902 book gob-smacked audiences with its tale of two boys whose childhood love of card tricks turns in adulthood into a deadly game of trickery and deceit.

Neil confirmed for 2011 Candlelight Processional
Disney Parks Blog has confirmed that Neil is among the presenters for this year’s Candlelight Processional, which takes place at Epcot, Walt Disney World from 25 November through 30 December. Neil will present on December 10-12.
Packages, including a meal and reserved seating, go on sale in July.

Neil wins Critics Choice Television Award
Neil won “Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series” for his role as Barney Stinson in How I Met Your Mother at today’s first ever Critics’ Choice Television Awards ceremony. The ceremony was streamed live on VH1.com today, and will be broadcast on ReelzChannel this Wednesday, June 22nd.

The Best and the Brightest in selected cinemas this week!
The Best and the Brightest is opening theatrically in New York and LA this week, and you can read all about it in this blog on the official site.
You can catch the limited run at the Laemmle Sunset 5 (Los Angeles) and the Quad Cinema (New York), running June 24-30, and find details on more screenings in Pennsylvania, Oregon, Florida, Washington, Utah and Brooklyn here.

The fantastic Lin-Manuel Miranda has posted a video of him and Tommy Kail sitting backstage at the Beacon Theatre Sunday night, writing the words to Neil’s closing “rap-up”, including footage of Neil running through the lyrics.
