Help Strengthen The Good In Florida

Posted on by D.C. Thornton

In addition to fighting what’s wrong in the world, it’s very important to build up what’s right.

Strengthen The Good needs your help — in helping our neighbors in Florida as they recover from the aftermath of Hurricane Charley.

This is a non-partisan, non-political appeal. It doesn’t matter where you stand on the issues; all that matters is that you’re willing to help fellow Americans in their time of need.

Please help out in any way you can, and help spread the word.

Thank you so much for posting this. My parents still don’t have their power fully restored. Last word was that the highest voltage they were getting out of the outlets was about 80 V. This means no water heater, no AC, no computer, the microwave runs at half power as well as the blow dryer. This is in Orlando. I can’t fathom what it must be like for folks in Punta Gorda. Natural disasters suck, but one good thing is that they bring good people out of the woodwork. My only wish is that they’d stay out of the woodwork. We need more good people out in the open, in the news, and making themselves known around us. I long for that and appreciate it when I see it.

You’re one of them. Thanks for that.
