About the SchoolThe School of Information Technology provides premier undergraduate and distinguished graduate programs for the education of computing and telecommunications professionals. We offer three undergraduate bachelor's degree programs, two undergraduate minor programs, a master's program in Information Systems, and a graduate certificate program offering five graduate certificates. Information Technology News IT Professional Mentorship Program kicks off IT student mentees and IT professional mentors came together at two mentorship kickoff events to meet and plan their mentorship experience for the 2014-2015 academic year. CAST Washington, D.C., internship applications available The College of Applied Science and Technology is continuing the scholarship program to encourage professional practice opportunities for high-achieving students who wish to complete their internship with an executive, legislative, or judicial agency or organization in Washington, D.C. College of Applied Science and Technology annual Hall of Fame induction, October 24 Induction into the College of Applied Science and Technology Hall of Fame is an honor bestowed on graduates and friends of the College of Applied Science and Technology. Apply for IT scholarships and awards Each year the School of Information Technology (IT) provides scholarship opportunities and academic awards to IT students. The application deadline is February 6, 2015. Redbird alum connects students, alums at Discover Each summer an increasing number of students from the College of Business and the School of Information Technology at Illinois State University serve as interns at Discover Financial Services. Many of these and other students become full-time employees of Discover upon graduation.
