All you've got now is a French crook that goes by the name of Lime, who cares more about setting up his own deals than bringing new quality customers on board to work with. You always knew working with that french bastard was trouble, only you never realized how much until one of the deals he had setup went wrong. |

A world that comes alive in front of you
CYPHER runs on the most powerful graphic card in the history of mankind: your imagination. Every scene you read, every place you go to, every person you meet and interact with will be rendered completely by your imagination. This allows amazing details to be perceived differently each time you walk through the streets of NeoSushi City. Vendors move their tents at the market, clerks tend their customers, cops patrol each sector. The world of CYPHER is alive and only you can shape into an unique form.
Video games have never been so real. You will be dealing with prosthetic addicts, assassins, mercenaries and unscrupulous businessmen in a dystopian future where corporate property ranks above life itself.
How would you escape an invisible enemy?
The bastard who hijacked your deal has left nothing to chance. Every professional trick you know, every person you could turn to for help, every place where you could hide - it all has been already compromised by Retrievers, dangerous tech-junkies and mercenaries who seem to always be one step ahead of you, and what's even worse; they start to become luckier with each try. Will you be able to follow the threads and find out who the puppeteer is before it's too late?
Jump through windows, break in doors, fire C-Guns, ride hoovercars through NeoSushi and buy items from street vendors - these are only some of the actions you can do as Dogeron Kenan in the world of CYPHER.
You won't be looking at an empty screen with just text but at a full graphical interface specially designed to draw you into CYPHER.
Be careful when talking to people... not everyone will turn out to be a friend.
What you say and to whom you say it can become a matter of life or death in CYPHER. While some characters can provide you with insightful information that will get you closer to finding out who's behind the Retrievers, others might sell you out for a few credits. Always remember: in NeoSushi City, money speaks louder than words.
Like in real life, some people have double standards. What they say is not always what they truly mean. Spotting these people's true motives will become an important part of your survival.
Some people like it ROUGH
Riding a subway that transforms into an elevated railway through the entire city is just one of the things you can see when playing CYPHER. How does spending time in the sewers trying to escape gruesome mutant roaches while a sentry gun is firing at you feel? Or perhaps you would like to have a firefight in the middle of a Yakuza boss's birthday party? Too rough? Maybe stepping inside one of the Pleasure-Booths and talking to a four breasted young woman sounds better? There are no limits to the fun and choices you can have in CYPHER, the only question is; will you make the right choices in time?
You will be constantly put to the test with situations that require lateral thinking (and others that can only be solved with extreme violence)

Who is behind CYPHER?
Two insane guys, that's who. "Cabrera Brothers" stands for Carlos and Javier Cabrera, a deadly team of amazingly talented clones created from the original Cabrera brothers who sadly perished in 2004 while trying to save the planet from an impending Armageddon. Working from the Fortress of Doom, a top secret facility on the High Earth Orbit, these two great champs of the independent development shape the life and destiny of hundreds of players by building games packed with rich storylines and wonderful graphics that amaze, terrify and awe gamers of all ages around the world.
| Carlos has been working for years in the game industry as an illustrator and famous concept artist. You may recognize his incredible works from games such as the upcoming Alien Colonial Marines, F.E.A.R, LEAGUE OF LEGENDS, SECTION 8, Privateer Press, and the successful series of tutorials in the 2D ARTIST Magazine. Besides working as an external consultant for the President of the United States over the Party and Entertainment affairs department (Clinton administration), Carlos is responsible for every bit of beautiful visual art you will see in Cypher and the game production and design. |
Javier has been a web design whore for the last 10 years and instead committing suicide he decided to join forces with Carlos to make games. The motto is simple: "Games we used to love brought to the 21st century". His works have been spotted on CNN Money, Yahoo, and a bunch of other sites that made his customers very rich, famous, and popular with the opposite sex. Javier also holds a "Master of the Universe Storyteller" degree granted by GOD himself and has been a ninja assassin for the last twenty-five years. He is also the responsible for the game design, coding and story of CYPHER: Cyberpunk text adventure. |
