The closest experience you’ll get to seeing the Grateful Dead live returns for an encore performance! Dark Star Orchestra’s long strange trip will make a stop in Jamestown to kick off the Southern Tier Brewing Company LIVE Series!

Dark Star Orchestra’s shows are built off the extensive catalog of the Grateful Dead. The band will create a unique set list as the first part of the show and then perform a concert based on a set list from the Grateful Dead’s 30 years of extensive touring. Dark Star Orchestra presents its critically acclaimed live show at esteemed venues from coast to coast and internationally.

A special brew will be made and sold the night of the show!

New Orleans funk will have you on your feet when Galactic comes to the Reg!

A collective of musicians featuring a rotating line-up of guest singers, Galactic plays original music, throwing in a few reworked classics for an unforgettable night of dance, good vibes and a lot of Mardi Gras atmosphere.

Galactic has been together so long they’re telepathic AND they cut their teeth playing the biggest party in America: Mardi Gras, when New Orleans shuts down entirely to celebrate. But though the band hasn’t had a lead singer for years, neither is it purely an instrumental group. Despite the appearance of various platinum names on GALACTIC albums, they especially like to work with artists who are still underground.

Among the performers who perform with the band are Living Colour’s Corey Glover, Chali 2na of Jurassic 5 and Trombone Shorty. When you listen to Galactic you’ll hear the most complete cross-section of what’s happening in contemporary New Orleans anywhere – all of it tight and radio-ready.

On November 14, Dark Star Orchestra takes the stage in the first concert in the series.
