Campus Wireless Network Service
Description | The University of Iowa Wireless service (UI Wireless) is provided by Telecommunications & Network Services (TNS), a division of Information Technology Services (ITS). UI Wireless provides wireless data network access (Wi-Fi) for mobile computing devices such as laptops and PDA’s. This service is available for students, faculty, staff, and guests using their Hawk ID. The University focuses on providing access in common spaces, classrooms, conference rooms, and similar areas. Office space and other non-public areas may be covered, but these types of spaces are not currently priority coverage areas. |
