Mariana Duarte Silva: After obtaining a degree in Business Administration, a young and wide-eyed Madame found herself on an a relatively risk-free career path, working as a product manager for one of Portugal’s biggest media groups. However, anyone who has known Mariana for even a fraction of a minute can pretty much guess what happened soon thereafter. The ever enthusiastic and adventurous young woman quickly tired of the 9 to 5, play-it-safe lifestyle and in 2007 she left Lisbon for the hustle and bustle of London, one of the world’s most exciting cities, in search of bigger and better things. She consulted for Citizensound music and officially founded her own talent agency Madame Management in 2008. Her charm, quick wit, and determination to get things done, quickly endeared her to some of London’s movers and shakers and she held events at such venues and clubs such as Plastic People, AKA, The Egg, Sketch, Cargo, Islington Metal Works and Bar Music Hall. Returning to Lisbon she re-focused her career as a press and communications specialist for music festivals such as Sónar Galicia, Semibreve, Neopop and Lisbon nightclubs Ministerium and Faktory as well as continuing to promote her own events. Her latest project is Village Underground Lisboa, of which she is a co-founder. Launching in February 2014, built around refurbished shipping containers and double decker busses, Village Underground will provide Lisbon with a new cultural centre as well as affordable workspace for those in the creative industries. It is the first international branch of the highly acclaimed project of the same name in London.

spacer Vasco Gaspar: believes that a “new world” is possible in organizations. A world where wise and compassionate leaders are really able to “lead from the future as it emerges” as well as to inspire people to flourish into their highest potential, igniting a real evolution in teams and organizations.
With a toolbox filled with “cutting-edge” awareness-based technologies (e.g. Mindfulness, Integral Model, Presencing, Element-B) his dream is to co-create this future – and he’s already doing it at different organizations, or with the general public as a social entrepreneur (ZorBuddha project).
He was recently invited to be part of the first teacher training program of Search Inside Yourself (Google’s Mindfulness Based Emotional Intelligence program) which, in the long run, has the intention to create the conditions for world peace.

Energizers:

spacer Amalia Ghiban: Everything around us, including ourselves, is made out of energy. At the core of any atom there is energy vibrating at a different frequency, and this for me is fascinating. The way we walk, the words we speak, the way we handle money, relationships, knowledge, life, anything we believe we own, is based on a constant flow of energy, and we are responsible for it. If it gets stuck or flows, we should be aware of how to manage it. I don´t want to talk to much about it, but more to show you how to see it , feel it and use it in your advantage.

Come aboard!
