Dead Ends is a fresh new soap. It follows the stories of Andrew, a young man trying to put his troubled past behind him; his mother, Lou, who has a dark family secret to guard and the hapless Chloe, a local girl who has fallen in love with a man that she can’t have. These individual stories combine towards a dramatic and shocking climax …

Dead Ends was created by 8 talented young writers through after-school workshops at the Ministry of Stories during Summer 2012. Working with the input of EastEnders writer, Pete Lawson and the support of our volunteer writing mentors, our writing team’s task was to devise and script 4 five minute episodes of a new soap opera inspired by Hoxton Street.

To help us create more opportunities for young people to get excited by writing, please donate now. Just £16 pays for one young person to attend a writing workshop, and £160 covers the costs for him or her to take part in a week-long publishing project.  Your help adds up!
