About Us
"A powerful reading and good example of how a story can be transformed when told out loud and told out loud well.
-William Gibson"The Drabblecast is an award-winning, illustrated, listener-supported audio fiction magazine, released as a free to download, weekly podcast. It features short stories at the far side of weird, including science fiction, horror, fantasy, and everything in between. It is hosted and produced by Norm Sherman. Art
The Drabblecast is a vibrant art market, with more than 200 original pieces generated. Lay your eyes upon the maddening scope as you scroll through back episodes (we’re working on a gallery widget, don’t worry).
Submissions
We are open to submissions from our fans (and other interested parties). To join our core of artists creating original illustrations for our weekly episodes, contact art director Bo Kaier at bo@drabblecast.org and express your intention. All styles and skill levels will be considered. It’s a chance to hear your bio read aloud, share a portfolio link, and have your work viewed by tens of thousands in the span of a week.
The wait for ‘new’ episodes is generally around 2 months. If you’d like to see your art featured right away, claim one of our DARP (Drabblecast Art Reclamation Project) episodes. Review this list, make your claim via email, and lend an episode released before the implementation of the cover art standard its face.
