We have a varying number of cats in residence at Crooked Acres. Above, you see Maxi (black with white marks, female) and Newt (buff tabby, male), who came with the house. They’re mostly outside cats, but we let them inside if they want – usually to eat some of the good cat food and stay cool on hot days or warm on cold days. We claim they’re not our cats, but since we feed and house them and take them to the vet when need be, we’re not fooling anyone.

We have nine cats of our own – you can read more about them here – as well as a varying number of foster cats. We foster cats and kittens for Challenger’s House, a no-kill cat shelter located in Toney.

We currently have two pigs. See more about them here.

We have around 130 chickens. See more about them here.

We have 6 turkeys.

(No goats or cows – YET.)
