Colordash 5K Race Helps the Owensboro Humane Society

On Oct 4th at the Daviess County Fairgrounds the World’s brightest 5K run comes to Owensboro! Color Dash is a non competitive run, walk, crawl through a array of color and help us to raise money for our animals. The event starts at 10:00 AM
Our facility is operated solely by the donations of the public. We do not receive money from the HSUS, city, state or any other organization. We rely on the public support only.

Celebrate With The Pet Food Center!

The Owensboro Humane Society will be at Pet Food Center ,2744 Frederica St, located in the Wesleyan Park Plaza from 11-1 for an adoption event.
Join us in helping to celebrate The Pet Food Center’s Re-Grand Opening and them becoming members of the Owensboro Chamber of Commerce.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 12:15. They will also have a treat tasting event for your dog to sample from 10 different types of treats from 12-1. You can enter for a chance to win one of the basket of pet goodies. There will be one for a large dog, a medium dog and one cat. Pet Food Center will have goodie bags for those who attend the event with their dog.
Come by and see some of our dogs who are seeking homes of their own. Our volunteers will be there to answer any questions you may have about the services we offer such as, dog training classes, spay/neuter clinics or microchipping. We will be accepting donations.
Keegan and Dewey had such a great time the last time they were at Pet Food Center ,they have requested to come back again. Come by and meet them!
