The Turchin Center for the Visual Arts at Appalachian State University engages visitors from the university, community, nation and beyond in creating unique experiences through dynamic and accessible exhibition, education, outreach and collection programs. These programs inspire and support a lifelong engagement with the visual arts and create opportunities for participants to learn more about themselves and the world around them.

Bridge Renovation UpdateWednesday, May 14, 2014 - 8:48am
The bridge that connects the Turchin Center’s two wings is undergoing a renovation project that has a projected end date of September 2014.
During this time, visitors may still use the main entrance for the galleries on the West Wing and a temporary entrance for the East Wing off of King Street. Thank you for your patience during this time and we are excited to unveil the completed project in September!

10th Anniversary Limited Edition Print by Tim Turner
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Turchin Center for Visual Arts, Tim Turner has created a limited edition archival pigment print of his original work, Lemon Grass. Only 50 prints of this incredible work will be available for purchase. Proceeds will go directly to the Turchin Center to continue presenting exceptional art exhibitions and education programs for the community.
