Why, yes, I DO know what Lebanon bologna is! And have even had it. And I bet you know what Schafer’s bologna is, too.

Allentown! or someplace near there. Wow, I bet there are half a dozen brands I’d forgotten. Seltzer’s, now what wrinkle of my brain did that just pop out of? The other Weaver’s, which doesn’t seem to have a website. I don’t think I ever really developed a brand preference; I just miss the stuff. Lebanon bologna sandwich with mayo and lots of thinly-sliced radishes, yum.
Funny what you get used to. Sometimes we wanted a break from Lebanon bologna and asked for “loney baloney” sandwiches instead. Meaning that finely-ground pinkish stuff that I haven’t bothered with in years, the Oscar Meyer kind of thing only this was kind of pre-Oscar Meyer in our market.
Know what my favorite was, though? Monday leftover roast-pork with lettuce and mayo.

Thanks Ron! My present arrived today in good condition, Lebanon Bologna MMMMMM! Meagan and I are meeting my friends Bill and Kim and we’re off to see Tom Petty tonight. We even have matching cheezy tye dye lot shirts from when Jeanne and I saw him down there 10 years ago. She gave the shirt to Debra at some point, so we’ll be sure to toast Jeanne tonight. Again, Grassy Ass!
