FastTrac supports entrepreneurs and small business owners start and grow their businesses through an intensive entrepreneurship education program. SUNY Levin Institute delivers FastTrac in partnership with the New York City Department of Small Business Services and Kauffman FastTrac Foundation. The NewVenture program, for aspiring entrepreneurs, is a seven-session full-day program, and FastTrac GrowthVenture, for business owners seeking growth, is an eight-session evening program. FastTrac TechVenture is a seven-session full-day program that leads technology entrepreneurs through an analytical process to understand what it takes to start, operate, fund and grow a technology or life sciences-based business. Since 2009, Levin has served thousands of participants. Of those completing programs, on average, 35% of NewVenture participants start a business within six months, 58% of GrowthVenture participants grow revenues and 15% of GrowthVenture participants hire additional people, according to surveys completed by the NYC Department of Small Business Services.
