I love looking at other vegans shopping list to see if I’m missing anything from mine! Great list! :)
Thanks you Em! I know I’m the same. I’m totally that creeper that checks out other peoples shopping carts in the store. I just love seeing what people eat! Especially when it’s healthy!
Just wondering why you choose to only consume 3-4 servings of legumes per week? I thought they were really healthy with lots of fiber and protein?
Hi Amory! I used to not eat very much simply because they give me digestive issues, but I am finding lately I am able to tolerate more (thank you kombu and digestive spices!) so I have upped my intake, usually once a day. I will update this page to reflect that :)
Awesome idea to have the kitchen list Gabby, I love it! Thanks for the beautiful recipes too. Keep cooking please x
Thanks Kate, your so kind!
I love this list! And I love how you have set up your website…so organized and easy-to-find things. :)
Thank you Jamie! You are so sweet!
Gabby, I’m trying to hunt down a really good food processor to make my own flours/nut butters etc… I’m searching through the reviews but not many people seem to use them for this type of thing. Can I ask what you use or would recommend?
Hey! Sorry it took me a little while to get back to you! I use a Kitchenaid 12 cup food processor. It works pretty well and the only complaint I have with it is that when you are processing dry, powdery things, some powder flies up and gets trapped between the lid and the base so when you open it the powder falls onto the counter. Not a big deal but a little annoying.
I like this one because it comes with 2 smaller bowls that fit inside the large one which is handy for smaller recipes. It makes nut butter really well! When I tried to make coconut butter, it did it but got really warm so I had to let it chill for a couple hours after.
SOo hose are my thoughts! The model number is KFPM770 if you’re interested. Let me know what you come up with though, because I’m moving soon and won’t get to take this processor with me, so I’ll be in the market too! Probably something smaller.
Hope I helped!
Hi Ive just found your blog and although im not vegan i am finding these recipes AMAZING so far, keep up the good work.
In response to this comment have you ever heard of a ‘Thermo mix?’ look it up, my friend just got one and its amazing it is every appliance you can imagine (Im not marketing this) i just thought it would be good as my friend now eats all unprocessed foods by milling her own flours and nut milks.
Jas xx
Thanks so much!
I’m super impressed by this Thermomix! It sounds like everything anyone could ever want in an appliance! It’s little out of my price range though, but something to keep in mind when I get a legit job lol. The idea of having something that can mil my own flours is so appealing :)
Hey! Just wanted to update you- I currently got my own Cuisinart 7-cup processor and I LOVE it. It's smaller but does a great job!
That's really funny, I got the exact same one! It's worked so well so far!
so random, glad you like it too!
