If you're looking for a $3M detached, historically-restored red brick colonial with parking in Georgetown, you read The Washingtonian. If you want some information on Arturo Sandoval at Strathmore, or who's coming to the Kennedy Center, you read The Washingtonian. If you want the inside dish on the Beltway's biggest heavies and the cryptic maneuvering of political power brokers, you read The Washingtonian.
So welcome fancy Washingtonian-reading people!
I apologize in advance for the disappointment, or your not getting it. But if you kinda maybe do, or just think that to be the case, and want to maybe back me a "darling" savant on the gallery scene or schedule a reading at Lisner or some artsy stuff you should totally go for it.
Nice feature, "Rick." BTW, Wertz just struck out.
ReplyDelete"Phillies fans packed the stadium, seemingly outnumbering our hometown crowd"
ReplyDeleteSeemingly? I was there, pretty sure it was 85% Phils fans. In fact, I saw more yankees gear than Nats gear.
The who aren't evil?
ReplyDelete*looks up the Nationals*
Our division? Worse than the Mets? Jayson Werth? I thought he just kinda stopped playing or something.
They misspelled bolg.
ReplyDeletethose helicopters from the very odd inset need to make an appearance later this season in a MS Paint above a Halladay and Ruiz hug wrapped in a Mike Sweeney in plainclothes double hug.
ReplyDeleteThey misspelled Wertz too.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't they just call you ZWR, 'Rick'?
ReplyDeletecongrats zwr! I have to agree with you that the nats aren't evil. I feel like they're our little brother. No real threat, we sell out their stadium to help them out every once in awhile. we let them borrow Wertz, even knowing that they're not going to give him back.
ReplyDeleteBeats me
ReplyDeleteI actually called him ZWR in the first draft, but my editor suggested using a fake name for him instead (I don't think ZWR is AP style friendly. Eye roll) I didn't pick Rick, but for some reason it sounded right.
ReplyDeleteHi ZWR - I see you are living in Fairfax. I am currently living in Reston. Please let me know if you would like to be best friends 4 everz
