Why You Should Give to Mmofra This Year!

  • Play, Parks, Public health.  It’s simple.  Our work this year has put us in the forefront of connecting children to nature in urban Ghana.  Now, our top priority for welcoming children to our evolving park site is sanitation.  No safe toilets means no park and no play!  With your donations, we’ll be able to partner with local designers of public eco-toilet systems to install our first one for $2,500.
  • Planting Trees, Recycling Wood.  Your contribution helps us save trees, and to recycle wood into great outdoor play features which reflect local culture!

15 years and counting!

When you donate, you welcome every child who shows up at 2 Forest Avenue, Dzorwulu, Accra; you offer that child a green space, a book to read, an experience to savor and a great confidence boost.

Through your generosity, we are creating a unique public space for children, the first of its kind in any urban center in Ghana.

Your support produces young African adults who pay forward the benefits of Mmofra programming, both at home and abroad.

She always comes home elated since she started this progam… now she sees life as very broad.  It has really enlarged her scope and I love it!   – Clement Owusu Sarpong, parent

I just want to be something great … that’s my dream.  – Richlove Sarpong, 14

“I just want to say thank you to Mmofra Foundation.  I was one of the pioneer children to attend Mmofra on Saturdays.  Thanks for all the cultural values you instilled in us.  -  Andy Mprah, Mmofra alum
