March Madness 2013 Predictions Final Four

Now that the NCAA 2013 Tournament is set here is our March Madness prediction for the Final Four

Midwest Region: Michigan State comes out of the Midwest after beating Duke in a game they dictate Big Ten tempo and rebound better and then they get to avoid #1 seed Louisville as they will be out by the Elite Eight.

West Region: Ohio State goes small again against Wisconsin and beats them for the third time this season to win the West Region.

South Region: Kansas despite upset ghosts of March Madness past is a freight train that can't be stopped as they win the South Region defeating whoever they face along the way.

East Region: A relieved Indiana team sees no Big Ten teams in sight and despite the coaches questionable coaching ability the offense rolls all day long.

That is right we just went with three Big Ten teams in the March Madness 2013 Final Four, and this was based on the matchups. The Big Ten was the best in the regular season and they are battle tested and poised for March Madness.

We like Ohio State over Michigan State in the semi finals and Indiana over Kansas.

In the final we are going with Indiana over Ohio State as Indiana has enough offense to get it done against non defensive greatness.

March Madness 2013 Upset Picks

You need March Madness 2013 Upset Picks and we have ours for you now that the NCAA Tournament 2013 bracket has been announced.

Midwest Region:
Take #12 Oregon over #5 Oklahoma State - Oregon is a team that had some success late in the year in a reinvigorated PAC 12 conference. Oregon has had some real duds on offense, however they get it going for this one.

West Region:

Take #13 Boise State against #4 Kansas State if you are a real risk taker, Boise State has played a wide mix of tough teams this season, they shoot pretty well and will not be afraid of the Wildcats. Boise State has to play the opening round game just to go at KSU but we like this for a #4 vs #13 matchup.

Take #10 Iowa State all day over #7 Notre Dame - you need to take this one all day long as Iowa State can get it in the hoop with the best of them and Notre Dame can go into a real funk. Plus neither of these teams is doing anything in the next round vs Ohio State.

South Region

Take #13 South Dakota State over #4 Michigan if you are a true risk taker as Michigan is inconsistent and there is the possibility that the sons of greatness forget they still need to play the game even if it is against Jackrabbits.

Take #11 Minnesota vs #6 UCLA as Tubby Smith gets the team fired up to save his job. Minnesota has the talent to be a #4 seed, they can get this done if they come in with the right mojo.

East Region

In the East Region we recommend you take chalk for a while however if you need an upset go #10 Colorado over #7 Illinois at your own risk.

March Madness 2013 Teams by State

We love lists and one of our favorite lists is the March Madness 2013 Teams by State because it gives us an idea of where the quality basketball is being played. One of the interesting things in 2013 is which states were left without a team such as Texas, and which states had more teams than usual Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Montana. The states with the most teams in March Madness 2013 are California and Pennsylvania which is fairly typical. The states which appear to have the best chance to be represented well in March Madness 2013 are Michigan, Kansas, Indiana, and Wisconsin
